Its adjusted earnings per share (EPS), which shows the profit per share of stock, grew 8% to $3.98. The company’s operating margin, a key measure of profitability, also hit a record 16%.

For its fourth quarter, Donaldson Company’s sales went over $1 billion for the first time, an 8% increase from the same period last year. Adjusted EPS for the quarter rose 12% to $1.15.
