On September 1, 2026, UBS analyst Michael Brown reiterated a Buy rating for KKR & Co. Inc. (NYSE: KKR). This global investment firm manages diverse investment strategies, including private equity investments. The analyst set a new price target of $123 per share, suggesting a potential 15.08% stock upside from the stock’s closing price of $106.88 at the time.

This positive outlook is supported by KKR’s recent strategic divestitures and corporate actions. The company is selling USI Insurance Services to Aon plc (NYSE: AON) for $17 billion. This asset sale is a key part of KKR’s plan to turn long-held private investments into large profits. The deal is expected to generate significant shareholder returns for the firm.

The financial benefit from the USI sale is substantial. KKR anticipates $3.3 billion in after-tax proceeds, which is the cash profit after paying taxes, and $2 billion in adjusted net income. KKR first invested in USI in 2017 when it was valued at $4.3 billion, showing a massive increase in asset value under its ownership.

As highlighted by Zacks Investment Research, the capital infusion from this sale gives KKR more investment capital to invest in new growth opportunities. Further adding to its activities, another KKR portfolio company, Wella Company, has filed for a U.S. Initial Public Offering (IPO), as reported by Reuters. An IPO is when a private company first sells its shares to the public, offering public market access.

Currently, KKR trades at $106.49 with a market capitalization of about $95.61 billion. The stock’s price performance has ranged from a low of $82.67 to a high of $152.10 over the past year. The new price target of $123 sits comfortably within this annual trading range.
