Top Market Gainers: Small-Cap Volatility, UAE Expansion, and Strong Technology Earnings Drive Gains
- bioAffinity Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: BIAF) and Focus Universal Inc. (NASDAQ: FCUV) surged amid substantial volatility in their low-float shares.
- Swvl Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ: SWVL) advanced after securing its first UAE working-capital facility.
- Leveraged ETFs tied to Dell Technologies Inc. (NYSE: DELL) and Reddit Inc. (NYSE: RDDT) amplified the strong daily gains of their underlying stocks.
Several small-cap stocks and leveraged ETFs recorded substantial gains on September 2, 2026. bioAffinity Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: BIAF) climbed 47.50% to $9.75, trading between approximately $6.33 and $11.72 on volume of more than 45.54 million shares.
The biotechnology company’s recent commercialization and clinical-development updates for its CyPath Lung diagnostic supported investor interest. However, no major new corporate announcement was released on September 2. The rally also followed a strong gain in the previous session and was likely amplified by the company’s small public float following its August 1-for-15 reverse stock split.
Focus Universal Inc. (NASDAQ: FCUV) rose 33.74% to $15.16, with shares trading between $10.80 and $15.89. The company’s $10 million preferred-equity offering closed in October 2025 and was therefore not a new catalyst for this session. No major same-day corporate announcement clearly explained the gain, suggesting that low liquidity and speculative trading contributed to the move.
Mobility provider Swvl Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ: SWVL) advanced 32.90% to $5.08. Swvl recently secured its first working-capital facility in the UAE through Zelo. The financing will provide liquidity for launching new enterprise accounts and expanding the company’s UAE operations, where its GCC revenue has increased approximately fivefold since the December 2024 relaunch.
Leveraged ETFs also posted substantial gains. The GraniteShares 2x Long DELL Daily ETF (NASDAQ: DLLL) rose 31.65% to $28.33 as Dell Technologies Inc. (NYSE: DELL) gained 15.79% following better-than-expected earnings and stronger guidance. Dell reported quarterly revenue of approximately $46.97 billion and adjusted earnings of $7.04 per share, supported by strong AI-server demand.
The GraniteShares 2x Long RDDT Daily ETF (NASDAQ: RDTL) increased 18.60% to $14.28 as Reddit Inc. (NYSE: RDDT) climbed 9.31% to $158.10. Reddit benefited from analyst optimism surrounding the possible renewal of its content-licensing agreement with Google.
The day’s gains reflected a combination of company-specific developments, earnings momentum, low-float volatility, and leveraged exposure to rising underlying stocks.
