On September 23, 2026, analyst firm RBC Capital gave Fastly (NASDAQ: FSLY) a “Sector Perform” rating. This investment recommendation is a neutral “hold” outlook. Fastly is a technology company that operates an edge cloud platform, which helps applications run faster and more securely for users around the world. The stock price was $26.08 at the time.

The rating comes as Fastly outlines an ambitious growth plan. At its Investor Day, the company announced a target to reach revenue of $1.1 billion to $1.3 billion by 2029. It sees a $22 billion total addressable market (TAM), representing the total revenue opportunity available for its current products.

This strategy is supported by recent operational success. Fastly reports three straight quarters of year-over-year growth of at least 20%. It also shows five quarters of improving net revenue retention, a key metric that measures revenue growth from existing customers. The company has also generated positive free cash flow for six consecutive quarters.

Fastly is also expanding into artificial intelligence (AI). As highlighted by Business Wire, the company launched new AI Firewall and AI Runtime Control tools. These products help organizations secure and manage their AI systems. This positions Fastly to benefit from the growing use of AI applications by businesses.

Despite these positive developments, the stock shows volatility. On the day of the rating, Fastly shares fell by $1.34, a 4.89% drop, to close at $26.08. The stock’s 52-week price has ranged widely from a low of $7.74 to a high of $34.82, reflecting market uncertainty.
