Top Market Losers: WidePoint, Onterris, Trio-Tech Drop

Market Losers: WidePoint (NYSE American: WYY), Onterris (NYSE: ONT), and Trio-Tech (NASDAQ: TRT) Lead Declines

The market saw several significant declines, led by WidePoint Corporation (NYSE American: WYY). The secure mobility management company fell about 51% to $5.47. The decline followed WidePoint’s update regarding a Government Accountability Office decision concerning the Department of Homeland Security Cellular Wireless Managed Services 3.0 contract.

Other companies also moved lower despite positive operational news. Onterris, Inc. (NYSE: ONT) fell about 17% to $14.00, even after announcing strong year-to-date momentum in its Brownfields & Community Revitalization practice, including 86 client engagements and more than $14 million in new work.

Trio-Tech International (NASDAQ: TRT) dropped about 14% to $6.22. The decline came despite the company recently reporting 72% fiscal 2026 revenue growth, supported by demand from AI and automotive semiconductor markets.

Financial technology and biotechnology names were also under pressure. Katapult Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: KPLT), a financial technology company, declined about 12.6% to $5.04. Surrozen, Inc. (NASDAQ: SRZN) fell about 12% to $29.54, pulling back after a recent surge tied to its FDA Investigational New Drug application submission for SZN-8141.

Today’s market losers show that stock declines can come from different causes. For WidePoint Corporation (NYSE American: WYY), the drop was tied to a specific contract-related update. For Onterris, Inc. (NYSE: ONT), Trio-Tech International (NASDAQ: TRT), and Surrozen, Inc. (NASDAQ: SRZN), the declines appear more connected to profit-taking, volatility, or broader market pressure despite positive company news.
