In its third-quarter 2025 financial results, United Airlines reported an adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $2.78, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $2.64. However, this figure represents a 16.5% decline compared to the previous year. Despite the earnings beat, the company’s revenue rose by 2.6% to $15.2 billion, slightly missing the expected $15.3 billion. This revenue growth was driven by increases in passenger and cargo sales.

Passenger revenue totaled $13.82 billion, falling about $90 million below expectations, while cargo revenue was $431 million, missing forecasts by approximately $1 million. Operationally, United Airlines saw revenue passenger miles increase to 73.77 billion and available seat miles rise to 87.42 billion, both slightly surpassing estimates. However, the load factor was 84.4%, which was 0.8 percentage points below expectations. The stock has experienced a decrease of 5.63%, with a change of $5.86, reaching a low of $94.05 and a high of $106.45 during the trading day. Despite these fluctuations, analysts maintain a positive outlook for UAL’s long-term potential.
