On August 7, 2026, Allianz reported its second-quarter 2026 earnings results. Allianz, known as ALIZF on the over-the-counter market, is one of Europe’s largest insurers by market capitalization. The company operates across the insurance and asset management sectors and serves customers globally.

Allianz reported total business volume of €45.6 billion for the quarter, representing 5.7% internal growth. This figure refers to total business volume rather than revenue and reflects the company’s activity across its insurance and asset management businesses.

The company reported record group operating profit of approximately €4.87 billion, up about 10.6% from the same quarter a year earlier. The increase was supported by strong performance in the asset management and life and health segments. Operating profit in the asset management division rose nearly 20% to approximately €933 million.

However, shareholders’ core net income declined to approximately €2.60 billion, compared with €2.84 billion in the second quarter of 2025. This represented an 8.7% decrease and was below the analyst consensus estimate of approximately €2.79 billion. The decline was primarily associated with higher restructuring expenses and other non-operating items.
