Bilibili (NASDAQ: BILI) is a leading video community in China with a particularly strong following among younger users. The platform offers user-generated videos, professionally produced content, live streaming, mobile games, advertising, premium memberships, and other value-added services. It operates in a highly competitive digital entertainment market that includes video-streaming, gaming, and social-media platforms.

On August 27, 2026, Bilibili announced its unaudited second-quarter 2026 financial results. The company reported adjusted diluted earnings of $0.23 per ADS, matching the Zacks consensus estimate and increasing from approximately $0.18 in the prior-year quarter. The adjusted figure is a non-GAAP measure and should not be confused with the company’s GAAP earnings.

Under GAAP, Bilibili reported basic and diluted earnings of $0.12 and $0.11 per ADS, respectively. These figures increased from approximately $0.07 per ADS in the same quarter of 2025.

Bilibili’s total net revenue reached RMB7.94 billion, or approximately $1.17 billion, representing an increase of 8%from the prior-year period. According to Zacks, revenue exceeded its consensus estimate by 0.40%. Advertising was the principal growth driver, with advertising revenue increasing 28% to RMB3.13 billion. 

Profitability also improved. Gross profit increased 10% to RMB2.95 billion, as revenue grew faster than the cost of revenue. The gross margin expanded to 37.2% from 36.5% in the prior-year quarter, marking Bilibili’s 16th consecutive quarter of gross-margin improvement.

Profit from operations increased 48% to RMB372.9 million. Net profit rose 55% year over year to RMB339.1 million, while adjusted net profit increased 25% to RMB703.6 million. Bilibili’s net profit margin improved to 4.3% from 3.0%, while its adjusted net profit margin increased to 8.9% from 7.6%.

User engagement remained strong during the quarter. Average daily active users increased 7% to 116.5 million, while monthly active users reached approximately 371 million. Users spent an average of 113 minutes per day on the platform, helping total user time increase more than 14% year over year.
