Greenland Mining Stocks and Chip ETFs Surge on Security Deal and AI Rally
- Greenland Mines Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRML) surged more than 229% after a U.S.-Denmark-Greenland security agreement boosted interest in Greenland-linked mining stocks.

- ARMG, a 2x long ETF tied to Arm Holdings (NASDAQ: ARM), jumped as chip stocks rallied on AI optimism.
A major rally in Greenland-linked mining stocks and AI-related chip names drove the day’s top gainers. Greenland Mines Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRML) rose 229.12% to $9.42, with trading volume above 211 million shares. The move followed news of a U.S.-Denmark-Greenland security agreement, which investors viewed as potentially positive for companies with exposure to Greenland’s mineral resources.
Critical Metals Corp. (NASDAQ: CRML) climbed 38.56% to $9.33. The company has exposure to the Tanbreez rare earth project in Greenland, making it one of the names investors watched after the security agreement.
Twin Vee Powercats (NASDAQ: VEEE) jumped 100.82% to $17.24, while Priority Technology Holdings (NASDAQ: PRTH) gained 33.62% to $7.80. Both stocks also face investor-rights scrutiny, so their moves should be viewed with caution.
Chip-related products also rallied. Leverage Shares 2X Long ARM Daily ETF (ARMG) gained 34.49% to $26.75, helped by a strong move in Arm Holdings (NASDAQ: ARM) and broader AI-driven strength in semiconductor stocks.
Overall, the day’s biggest winners were driven by two themes: Greenland mineral speculation and renewed AI/chip stock momentum.
