The company is launching Picolette, an exclusive baby collection by Olivia Culpo, on July 26. This collection features 60 items, including apparel and mealtime essentials, and represents Target’s largest baby collaboration. The goal is to offer stylish and functional products at affordable prices, making them available in about 1,400 stores and online, enhancing Target’s e-commerce presence.

This strategic focus on the baby category is viewed positively by market analysts. The analyst firm Guggenheim reiterates its “Buy” rating for Target. As highlighted by Guggenheim, the firm also increases its price target for the company to $150 from a previous target of $145, suggesting confidence in the retailer’s growth prospects and market performance.

Currently, Target stock is priced at $139.70. The stock’s 52-week price has ranged from a low of $83.44 to a high of $144.40, showing it is trading near its yearly peak. The company has a market capitalization of approximately $63.45 billion, which reflects the total value of all its shares in the market.

Beyond the Picolette launch, Target is investing heavily in its baby department. The company is introducing nearly 2,000 new items and more premium brands. It is also enhancing the shopping experience with in-store Baby Boutiques, personalized concierge services, and convenient same-day delivery options through Target Circle 360, further solidifying its position in the retail sector.
